Your apartment, construction materials, and systems are all affected by weather changes. If you follow these rules, you can sleep soundly knowing that your apartment is in good condition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Twice a year, before summer and winter, clean out the air conditioning\u2019s filters to prevent the air conditioners from leaking and keep them at optimal function, which also affects power consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/dev-tidhar.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u05ea\u05d3\u05d4\u05e811.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4647\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u05ea\u05d3\u05d4\u05e811.webp 1000w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u05ea\u05d3\u05d4\u05e811-300x200.webp 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u05ea\u05d3\u05d4\u05e811-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At the start of winter, inspect and clean out the balcony water drain. We also recommend that a member of the building committee go up to the roof and inspect the building\u2019s drains and roof insulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During wintertime, drops of water may accumulate on the windows and on the interior walls. This is not a leak from outside, but condensation, just like the steam that accumulates on our bathroom mirrors while we shower. Make sure that your heating temperature isn\u2019t too high and air out your rooms at daytime and nighttime. Ventilating the apartment\u2019s is also crucial to prevent mold and fungi, which are a risk, especially in bedrooms, behind the beds, in closets, and in closet rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cracks may appear in walls, hardwood floor may warp, and doors may creak. This is often temporary, and it should fix itself once the humidity balances out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During extreme and stormy weather, we recommend that you check the balconies, as well as the rooftop and garden apartments, that furniture is steadily grounded and there are no objects that may fly in the wind, cause damage, or shatter any glass. The air might become very dry during spring and autumn. Loss of humidity in the walls, hardwood floors, and wooden furniture will sometimes cause these to crack up; hardwood floor may warp, and doors may creak.
